2018 Acura TLX test spotted driving in Ohio

Sometimes we get lucky, we were driving home today to the mall and stopped at a traffic light just in front of us is a fully camouflaged car As any journalist would do, I take the iPhone and quickly passed my better half to record video.
What we saw was not one, but two prototypes preparing to mount one of the steepest roads in our neck of the woods we could tell right away by the profile of the cars that they were either Hondas or Acuras But what models could they and what is under all that camouflage.
Our video shows a quick look at two Acura prototypes we spotted driving in the video copyright 2017 street today.
When we arrived at home and dowloaded the videos on our laptop, we did a little detective work indices all pointed in the same direction, we think we have seen prototypes of the next Acura RLX called the Legend Honda in Japan either in 2018 or maybe 2019 models How can we be sure.
Well, we're not 100 percent sure, however, when looking at the greenhouse or the glass area of the cab, it seems to correspond to the current RLX The shape of the side windows and surround molding chromium also appears to be the same.
We looked at the waistline, the tops of the front fenders and hollow character lines all seem to match the car 2017. The major differences on these prototypes current production models are front and rear.
From the rear, exterior taillights seem to match the current RLX Yet the shape of the interior lights in the trunk lid and the license plate pocket are different is the lower rear bumper area.
We had a very quick look at the gate The unsecured portion seems to wear the diamond pentagon style used on the new Acura MDX We were surprised that the front had not been covered by a mask, as we have seen on other prototypes.
All these clues mean that we believe that these cars are pretty close to launch, perhaps later this year or early next year if we didn t get a look under the hood, did cars the familiar sounds of combustion engines as they climbed the hill.
For 2017, Acura RLX offers with a 3 liter V6 5 to send power to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic hybrid While the top sport is all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DCT We'll have to wait and see what's in store for the next RLX in the coming months in the meantime, we still have our iPhone-ready because we never know what we're up next.
