holland Park

The largest Royal Borough Park with 22 5 hectares of gardens, children's play facilities, sports courts, a cafeteria and large wooded areas abundant with wildlife Contained within the park is the beautiful Kyoto Garden; Japanese garden donated by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce in 1991.

Holland Park is also the basis of the Service Ecology Center Ecology of the district in Holland Park is organizing a series of events, activities and educational tours and workshops for schools We also organize a club of wildlife for children, holiday activities and a full program of events for all ages.
The Council plans to make improvements in the area around Holland House Holland Park and launching a consultation on its proposals A consultation exhibition will be open throughout the consultation period in the former Ecology Center in the courtyard near Stable the entrance door Ilchester.



The consultation exhibition will be open daily from 10 am -6pm and staff will be available to answer your questions during the following hours.
There are three key areas for improvements.
Creating an appropriate framework for the Holland House rated Grade 1 by replacing the gravel and Astroturf on the south terrace with a hard landscaping plan that enhances this part of the park This will include the provision of new doors on the coffee side the terrace that will create a better view of Holland House park.
Realign the service road to the terrace which runs right next to the café to improve safety realign the service road will involve the relocation of being closer to the outdoor seating area coffee cafe building.
Improving access to the southern terrace by providing a way to ramp Duchess of Bedford late Holland House which will allow access wheelchair and stroller accessible.
The improvements will allow better use of these areas, improve safety and enhance the visibility of Holland Park House and are intended to provide a better, high quality equipment for the park.


The consultation will run from 20 31 June July 2016.
